I’ve struggled with my own imposter syndrome, worried that I am not good enough. I’ve jumped from idea to idea trying to identify what I should be focusing on, because I wasn’t confident enough in the value I deliver. You know what I mean?
Yes, like most of us, I’ve been through some big life challenges. What I know I have in buckets is … resilience and determination. That has kept me getting up again and again each time.
We are not what happens to us in life though, are we? Who we are comes from what we do with those experiences and what we learn from them.
I grew up in a very critical family, have been made redundant 5 times in my evolving career in the software industry, got a divorce from my childhood sweetheart after 20 years (he left me for the other woman) and, at the same time, had a complicated knee reconstruction with 3 operations in 10 weeks, struggled to launch a couple of new business, dealt with financial stress and the loss of both parents in my first year in France. I moved from Australia to live in France in my late 50’s: with no place to live, no job, no contacts and not speaking French. I might be a bit crazy, huh.
I am grateful for each and every experience and learning on my journey, because they have made me who I am today. A woman who has a lot to offer and some great stories to tell.
It takes courage and focus to take the self-exploration journey to really understand ourselves, and to grow as a person.
The value I offer, as a supportive coach and facilitator on your growth journey, is from the insights I have gained in my journey, my life experiences and the learning I have done along the way … about who I am and how we relate to each other.
Communication, both in business and personal relationships, has always been my passion. I love helping people create high functioning relationships. Impactful improvements in your communication and relationships resolves so many problems and conflicts in life.
I’ve done the corporate thing in sales and marketing, and trained others in it too, but now my mission is to help women leaders and aspiring leaders succeed in their life.
I work with women leaders who want to change the way they present themselves in the world – to set healthy boundaries, build high-functioning relationships, successfully sell themselves and their value and amplify their influence.
My approach is practical and pragmatic self development, based on the proven Woman Centred Coaching framework from Dr Claire Zammit. It delivers extraordinary results. Add to that, my powerful insights that come from being highly intuitive, to hone in on what is really going on in the inner self.
I guess you could be wondering what qualifications I have for doing this work and, yes, I have a few. Rest assured, I am a certified coach and have completed the following courses:
Add to this; 25+ years of personal development plus 20 years corporate business experience in high technology and 20 years as a corporate trainer in communication and leadership skills.
